Laminate flooring is tested for color fastness, resistance to wear, scratch resistance, impact resistance, stain resistance, proper fit, reaction to cigarette burns and much more. |

CARB2 certified products meet the California Air Resources Boards (CARB) phase 2 stringent emission standards for formaldehyde emissions. This Californian regulation is one of the most stringent in effect to limit formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products. As of today, it is only being implemented in California. However, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency is developing a national regulation based on Californias regulation, which is expected to be in effect nationwide by end of 2015. |
